In seventh grade, I became friends with a man who was in two of my classes. One day, I was chatting with him during lunch when I glanced around the cafeteria and saw him sitting at another table. I was totally surprised and turned around—and there he was, sitting at my table.
As it turns out, he had a twin brother, which is why I had one class with him and another with his brother. I didn’t find this out for about two weeks. © SonOfTheNorthe / Reddit
Story 8:
I dated someone for a few months last year, and things were going pretty well between us. Suddenly, he became very cold and distant, and I thought I’d done something wrong. Shortly after, he posted a photo on Facebook of himself kissing a woman, and they’ve been together ever since. © nicksbrunchattiffany / Reddit
Story 10:
On my first day at university in a new city, I met a great guy. We had the same dark sense of humor and became friends immediately. Months later, my father died suddenly. I went back to my family and missed a lot of university as a result.
After the funeral, I was sitting with my whole family when a friend called. I told him I’d been away because of a death in the family. Suddenly, he started bombarding me with questions—who had died, whether it was my father, what his name was. I was confused and asked him what was going on.
It turned out that his parents had been at my father’s funeral. He was a cousin I hadn’t known. It was a wonderful moment of connection during a difficult time. It felt like a fairy tale.
