Chill and Serve:

Plastic-film the bowl and allow the ham  salad to stay in the refrigerator for a further 30 minutes to let the ingredients get absorbed thoroughly after preparing.

Serve even chilled on top of crackers or a piece of bread or fresh veggies. It’s great as a filling in sandwiches too.

Hints for Success:

Finely Chopped Ingredients: Most of the ingredients for a good ham salad spread need to be cut into small bits or chopped finely. This guarantees that each mouthful is packed with taste.

Customize the Creaminess: If that amount of mayo isn’t enough for you, there’s still room for more. If you want the spread a little thicker more mayonnaise will need to be put in.

Use Quality  Ham: If the best ham salad taste is desired, it is advisable to choose a nice and quality ham, usually leftover from other salads or thick-deli-type.

Chill Time: Placing the ham salad in the refrigerator to chill for a minimum of half an hour is a great way to enhance our taste in advance, thus ensuring no taste is wasted.

Ham salad spread is high in protein due to the meat and eggs within it. It also enables the ingestion of the required vitaminsand iron and zinc among goods. But do take note of the sodium content if you are using packaged ham and mayonnaise, for instance. If you want to healthy, you may use leanness mayonnaise and use less salt.
