A Shocking Tragedy
Khayne Kheian Naelgas Castro, a young boy from the Philippines, lost his mother under tragic circumstances. She died giving birth to his younger brother, Cyril Khayzer Castro. At the age of five, the concept of death is abstract. He saw his mother lying peacefully in a coffin and thought she was asleep. Day after day, he waited for her to wake up, hoping she would hold him in her arms again.
