A simple trick that saved me 10 cubic meters of water per month.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about our electricity bills, especially after discovering that our house’s water consumption is significantly higher than average. Statistics show that a person typically uses about 5 cubic meters of water per month, but our figures were different.

It all started when I published an article about my experience contacting the water company about an incorrect receipt stating that we had used 140 cubic meters of water in one month. The error was corrected, and it turned out that our actual consumption was 47 cubic meters, which seemed incredibly high for three people.

Thinking about it, I decided to check the functionality of our water meter myself. I did it simply: I noted the last digit on the meter, poured three liters of water into a glass, and checked if anything had changed. The meter was working perfectly.
