The Department of Homeland Security has defended the ICE officer’s conduct, stating that Good attempted to strike the officer with her vehicle and that his actions were justified.

While discussing the meaning behind his pin, Ruffalo also made pointed remarks, accusing Vice President JD Vance of “misrepresenting what is happening.”

Shifting his focus to Trump, the actor continued speaking: “We are currently involved in a conflict with Venezuela that was entered unlawfully. [Trump] is telling the world that international law holds no value to him.

“The only thing he cares about is his personal sense of morality, yet he is a convicted felon; a convicted rapist.”

“He is a pedophile,” Ruffalo added. “He is the worst type of person. If the most powerful nation on earth relies on this man’s morality, then we are facing serious danger.”

For context, Trump was found guilty on 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records in May 2024 (via The Independent). That same year, a jury found him liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in 1996, though it was a civil case and not a criminal conviction.
